The report, titled “AI Agents: The Final Frontier of the Enterprise”, surveyed over 1,000 IT decision-makers across the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia, providing key insights into the readiness of organizations to integrate AI-driven solutions.

Growing Confidence in AI Agents

As businesses increasingly recognize the value of AI, a significant portion of IT leaders have placed substantial trust in AI-driven agents. The study highlights:

  • 40% of respondents trust AI agents more than human employees to complete tasks effectively.
  • 44% believe AI agents are just as reliable as human workers.
  • IT teams currently spend an average of 16 hours per week managing, deploying, and troubleshooting AI technologies.
  • AI agents are expected to save enterprises an average of 19 hours per week.

Enterprise-Wide AI Adoption

The enthusiasm for AI agents is particularly strong within IT departments, which stand to benefit the most from automation. Key findings include:

  • 79% of IT leaders consider the implementation of AI agents a top priority within the next 12 months.
  • 92% are confident that AI agents will drive meaningful business outcomes in the next 12-18 months.
  • 79% of organizations are planning to invest over $1 million in AI-driven solutions within the coming year.
  • Companies intend to deploy a dozen or more AI agents in the next 12 months.

Challenges Hindering Full AI Integration

Despite the widespread adoption and trust in AI agents, some barriers remain:

  • 60% of IT leaders cite data security and privacy concerns as a major challenge.
  • 46% report difficulties due to legacy technology and lack of integration.
  • 29% believe a lack of employee understanding is slowing adoption.
  • 14% worry about AI hallucinations affecting reliability.
